Herbal First Aid – Hydrosol
Hydrosol process, start to finish.
Hydrosols in May! Hydrosols, also known as floral waters, are the byproduct of the essential oil distillation process. They are made of plant constituents, traces of essential oil, and filtered water, which gives them their heavenly aroma. We will be making our own hydrosols with plants and flowers on the property. There are so many options with the luscious gardens and surrounding native plants. From comfrey sprays for bites and minor scratches to culinary blends for an extra sensory meal experience to an aroma bliss spray from the fragrant roses, lemon grasses, and mangi pangis. It’s where alchemy meets aromatherapy with community creating. Join us in our last series of the season!

The Academy at the Parc is a place that educates and nurtures the whole child. The children are happy to be there. They’re learning not only through academics but through movement, nature, arts, real life hands in the dirt learning, and play. This is the kind of learning that is both the education of the future and the golden days of the past. The teachers and staff have a deep caring for these children and it shows in the nurturing teaching style. This education is going to prepare them for real life learning and thinking that will place them above and beyond in higher education, the work force, and life in general. Grateful to be a part of this beautiful school amongst the trees!
