Herbal First Aid – Moringa
Using moringa in foods and as a superfood
Moringa March Miracles! This class will involve a rant of positive aspects of my love of this tree, the Miracle Tree! All parts of this amazing tree can be used for various uses and purposes. It’s leaves have 7x more vitamin C than oranges, 15x more potassium than bananas, and contains protein, calcium, iron, amino acids, magnesium, zinc, and more. We will explore the various stages of moringa leaves: harvesting, drying, and making our very own moringa powder. Adding just small amounts of moringa into your smoothies, soups, and teas and can aid in an abundance of health benefits to you and your family.

The Academy at the Parc is a place that educates and nurtures the whole child. The children are happy to be there. They’re learning not only through academics but through movement, nature, arts, real life hands in the dirt learning, and play. This is the kind of learning that is both the education of the future and the golden days of the past. The teachers and staff have a deep caring for these children and it shows in the nurturing teaching style. This education is going to prepare them for real life learning and thinking that will place them above and beyond in higher education, the work force, and life in general. Grateful to be a part of this beautiful school amongst the trees!
